For restricted licence holders, the GIXXER SF 250 is the perfect entry point into the wonderful world of motorcycling, starting with the willing but intimidating single-cylinder, light weight oil-cooled engine, that produces maximum power of 19.8kW (26.7hp) at 9300rpm, with peak torque (22.2Nm) arriving at 7300rpm.

WHAT IS SEP?

The compact 249cc, single-cylinder engine incorporates Suzuki’s oil cooling system, designed to provide high output, durability and ease of maintenance alongside frugal fuel economy.

There’s a six-speed gearbox, so you’ll always have the right gear to keep the fuel-injected 249cc engine in its sweet spot, and the machine comes with Suzuki’s excellent Easy Start System – just thumb the starter once and let the bike do the rest.

The wet weight of the GIXXER SF 250 is a svelte 161kg, so the equation is simple: it’s nimble and darts from side to side with absolute ease and precision. Its narrow stance is also a boon in tight spots, and there’s also excellent stability offered by the 1345mm wheelbase.

That lithe posture also helps riders to firmly put their feet down with confidence, helped by the low 800mm seat height.

The styling cuts a contemporary European-inspired look, with inspiration from the catalogue of past iconic Suzuki sportsbikes and sports-tourers.

A full fairing elegantly wraps the around the chassis and the smooth bodywork is powerful and glamorous, and foreshadows a dynamic and attractive ride. At the tip of the front cowl is the futuristic LED headlamp design that marks strong and aggressive impression of this motorcycle. The compact size and thin design of headlamp unit not only complements street sport look of the motorcycle but also helps ease of handling and offers long and wide field of view from its extremely bright LED headlamp.

Clip-on-handlebars provide a sporty riding position and enable the rider to easily position the motorcycle when taking on their favourite set of corners.

Brushed finished ten-spoke alloy wheels feature pin striping that is colour matched to the fairing decals.
