What could further enhance the already widely popular V-STROM lineup? The answer is a new addition to the family: The V-STROM 250SX.

The “S” stands for “sports” and the “X” stands for “crossover.” With the kind of presence to make onlookers do a double-take and the performance to back it up, this sport adventure tourer blends rugged versatility with stylish, modern looks. Equally at home cruising in town as it is rolling along an unpaved road in search of the next scenic vista, the V-STROM 250SX caters to riders who want their motorcycle to be able to take them down many different kinds of roads, and look good while doing it. Well-rounded front suspension with plenty of stroke, allowing the V-STROM 250SX to traverse many kinds of roads.

Swingarm type rear suspension with 7-step adjustable preload to support riding in various conditions.

Narrow side panels thanks to a slim, compact engine layout provide an easy reach to the ground. A well-balanced riding position offers superb visibility and comfort on longer rides.

Ample 205 mm ground clearance adds confidence in traversing obstacles, helpful both in town and on unpaved roads.

19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with MRF semi-block style tires work well on both paved roads at higher speeds, and on unpaved roads at lower speeds for solid allaround usability. (Not available on Japanese and Taiwanese spec).

Dual-channel ABS matches stopping power to available traction for greater confidence and control.

This also highlights the V-STROM 250SX’s convenience and ease of use in urban riding situations where a slim profile is an advantage.

The shell surrounding the headlight is designed to resemble a hard anodized finish flashlight.

The taillight adopts a surface emitting LED.

LED indicators include those for the turn signals, high beam, neutral, malfunction, ABS (Only for ABS model), RPM indicator, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The indicators are designed to be easy to recognize.
